You need to register in the website, fill in the application form, and scan all the documents needed. Here are the following guides to obtain Indonesian E-Kitas.

The Requirements

To apply for the Indonesian E-KITAS online, the foreigners need to prepare all the requirements and the documents requested. Here are some following requirements.

General Requirements

1.      Complete the application form

2.      Prepare an original passport and the copy which has the biodata page, the photo of the passport, and the stamp of the recent arrival

3.      The valid entry permit date which is reported to the immigration office

4.      The letter of domicile from the local authority

5.      Prepare the letter of sponsorship or guarantor

Specific Requirements

1.      Have the marriage registration in Indonesia (If you marry an Indonesian spouse)

2.      Have the letter of recommendation from the government agency or the related ministry in Indonesia (If you work in the registered Indonesian company)

3.      Have the foreign worker's utilization document or RPTKA from the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower

4.      Have the passport that has the validity minimally 18 months and the page that has blank space for:

-          The entry/exit stamp

-          The combined stamp for KITAS & Exit Reentry Permit

-          The ITAS visa

-          The entry stamp for entry into Indonesia

5.      Pay the administration fee IDR100,000 to the Indonesian Immigration via any Indonesian national banks.

6.      Scan all the original documents in color and with the size less than 400kb.

-          The passport that includes the data pages that has the length of validity for at least 18 months

-          The curriculum vitae that is stamped and legalized by the company and signed by the head of the company or the director

-          The university certificate and is legalized by 6000 stamps (materai).

7.      Go to the Indonesian Embassy overseas to obtain the visa.

 The Registration of Indonesian E-KITAS Online

After all the requirements are fulfilled, you can register Indonesian E-KITAS online.

1.      Visit the official website of Indonesian Immigration and choose ITAS online menu where Layanan Izin Tinggal Online service is provided.

2.      Fill in the application form, fill the passport number, and the number of VITAS authorization in the box.

3.      Submit the application form.

4.      Wait for the email notification from the immigration with your name and the application and passport numbers in it.

5.      Print the email notification and report to the Indonesian Immigration office within 30 days from the date of your interview, biometric and data verification taken.

6.      Go to Indonesian Immigration office and prepare the printed email notification to get the queue number.

7.      Bring the original passport so that your passport can get ITAS online registration stamp.

8.      Pay the administration fee for the Indonesian E-Kitas, the re-entry permit, and the information technology management system.

9.      Wait for the email notification about the approval letter of ITAS and KITAS attachments.

10.  Go to the Indonesian Immigration Office to obtain E-KITAS or non-electronic-KITAS.
